Challenge and Strategy
The goal of this campaign was to promote a limited-time $59 HVAC offer in a way that reached both existing customers and potential new customers. Because HVAC promotions are highly seasonal and competitive, the campaign needed to be clear, timely, and repeated across multiple channels to increase visibility and response.
To maximize visibility, I built the campaign around a consistent offer and message that could be adapted across several channels. Each touchpoint served a different role: direct mail increased local awareness, phone outreach targeted current customers, social media expanded reach, and email reinforced the promotion with an easy call to action.
Channel Execution
I helped create direct mail materials to put the offer directly in front of local households and support top-of-mind awareness. The design focused on bringing awareness to our new divisions, quick readability, and a clear call to action. We sent flyers to houses based on income, ownership, and household size.
Customer Calling
I increased outreach to current customers by helping promote the offer through direct calling, giving the campaign a more personal touch and helping re-engage existing customer relationships. Messaging was kept simple and service-focused to make the value of the offer immediately clear.
Social Media
On social media, I promoted the campaign through branded graphics and messaging designed to stop the scroll and communicate the offer quickly. Social content helped extend the campaign’s reach and reinforce the promotion visually.
Email marketing was used to reach current customers directly and reinforce the limited-time nature of the promotion. The message focused on clarity, convenience, and a direct response path.
Results
This campaign strengthened visibility for the promotion by keeping the offer present across multiple customer touchpoints. Using several channels at once helped reinforce the message and created a more cohesive promotional effort than relying on one platform alone. The direct mail campaign resulted in a 104% ROI, while the social media campaign had over 5,000 views and 22 link clicks on a $50 budget.
